Tips for Prepping for your Session:
- Give baby a feed right before the session, if possible. I'll text you when I'm on my way with my ETA.
- Bump up the thermostat 2-3 degrees to help baby stay sleepy/calm.
- Declutter if possible. I can also move things around as needed.
- Open all blinds/drapes and turn off all artificial lights (even lamps and TVs)
- No socks or neutral matching socks work best for in-home shoot s (no shoes)
- Plan your outfits in advance, sticking to neutral colors if possible (See steps below for tips!)
Wardrobe Planning Step 1: Pick a Vibe & Explore Options
Whether you prefer dressier attire, casual vibes, or loungewear - any of these options work for an in-home shoot.
Dresses are beautiful, comfortable option for a newborn shoot. Flowy dresses will add movement and luxury vibes to your images.
Casual options might include an oversized sweater with leggings, trendy overalls, a nice shirt and jeans, or a jumpsuit or romper.
Loungewear and/or matching sweater sets give a very down to earth, authentic feel to an in-home shoot.

Wardrobe Step 2: Pick a Color Scheme
Recommended Colors
Earthy neutral colors (pictured right) are recommended for your session, as they will place the focus on you and your baby, and coordinate best with my editing style.
COLORS TO AVOID: bold primary colors, neons, a lot of black
This will help us avoid strange color casts, as well as very bright colors or very deep shadows that will pull the eye away from the face
